Archaeology is where you find it - curb stamps

When walking my dog, I have often noticed the contractor's stamps in the cast concrete curbs lining residential streets of my neighborhood. Several days ago, I noticed a WPA stamp in the curb across the street from my house. Dating stamps for historic transformations of this humble residential neighborhood.
