The Astute Blogger follows Obama's chain of associations to persons on the ugly side of American politics and domestic and international terrorism. An excellent article. Obama's associations are a serious matter that must be considered. The issue is more than Rev. Wright.
Update. May 25, 2008. Defense of examining Obama's social and political associations as part of our evaluation of the candidate, especially since some of those associates are against Israel and not sensitive to anti-semitism.

Update. June 24, 2008. Antoin Rezko and Nadhmi Auchi were involved in the Obama's purchase of a home with an extra lot for Michelle's garden. Auchi is an Iraqi billionaire businessman, who was an associate of Saddam Hussein and who parlayed military contracts under Hussein to build a European business. Atlas Shrugs reprints several pieces of investigative journalism that establish the connections from Auchi through Rezko to Obama.
Update. July 2, 2008. One of youthful Obama's mentors was Frank Marshall Davis, a black Communist.
