In September, we began acquiring registered Brangus heifers to establish the foundation of our Brangus beef herd. We now have a magnificent bull, 6 heifers, 3 calves (two little bulls and one heifer) on the ground,and 2 calves ready to drop. We lost one calf in early March, alas, a week after it was born, to a pack of coyotes.
